Third-party developers had some interesting new assets to share showcasing upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
First of all, freeware developer FlyByWire shared a new video look at the FMS of its Airbus A380, showing the setup of two flights.
Next is DC Designs, which shared a new look at the exterior of its Concorde, which the developer hopes to release before Christmas.
We also hear from IndiaFoxtEcho, which showcased the Aermacchi M-346 Master and the Sukhoi SU-31 with new images and development updates.

We are remaking a few 3D parts as we thought they were not good enough by our current standards. Apart from that, external textures have been remastered to 8K and cockpit rebuild/retexturing is complete. We will also redo the HUD with HTML5/Javascript. BEST ESTIMATE FOR A BETA IS END OF OCTOBER.

This project is moving forward…but not as quickly as we want. Most of the modeling/avionics/cockpit interaction bugs have been solved, Sim Update V cockpit model has been implemented and flight model has been refined…but it is not yet satisfactory. We do not have a release date for it at the moment.
We also take another look at New York LaGuardia Airport (KLGA) in the United States, which was revealed by Bravo Airspace yesterday.
Impulse Simulation shared a further few renders of its Bankstown Airport (YSBK)Â in Australia.
Recently, we published our massive interview with head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann, focusing on the Xbox version and short and long-term plans for the sim (on both platforms).
