We start with Ouroboros, which released a development update about their EMB-500 Phenom 100.

We’ve got some studio renders for you guys today. This model sprung to life faster than we anticipated but we’re happy to share it with you. The future of this model will be improved with a “V2” but the current version is close to what you will fly as we move into the texture phase. We plan to integrate the Working Title NXi system into our Phenom natively, meaning you don’t have to install this seprately to enjoy a detailed aircraft. Over time, we plan to include a custm EICAS and more pages with enough support and availability. Before we roll out our Phenom 300 model we will need to have perfected the Phenom 100 after the release. Needless to say, yes that is also in the long term pipeline.

More freeware news comes from Delta Simulations, which is working on a rather spectacular UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter.

We’ve made some huge leaps with UH60, and I’m incredibly excited to share with you the latest improvements to the displays and models.

Starting with the displays, we have created realistic displays with advice of our many amazing pilots. The displays have been tested in-sim and have been optimized to create a negligible FPS impact on the game. We’re happy to showcase our HMD, which follows the user’s eyesight as they pan around the cockpit. Moving to models, a majority of the details on the exterior was judged to be inaccurate or of too low detail, so we’ve remade them. Some of the more noticeable improvements would be a re-make of the UES, new landing gears, external textures, decals, riveting, and a general cleanup of the meshes. We’ve also taken the time to flesh out the current variants that we are working with.

We’ve modelled detailed skis and FLIR systems for our HH60M medivac variant, tweaked the guns and cargo for our HH60W CSAR variant, and made it extremely simple for livery artists to customize the external parts. We have started the MH60M DAP version, however we are planning on reserving that for its own progress update!

The work-in-progress version of the helicopter can already be downloaded and you can follow development at the developer’s own discord server.

We also get an update from Carenado about the Pilatus PC-12. The developer is fixing the last details and you can check out the screenshots below.

More screenshots come from Tailstrike Design, which showcased Václav Havel Airport Prague (LKPR) in the Czech Republic. As usual, they were shared on the developer’s official Discord server.

An announcement came with IniBuilds, which will publish Xometry Design’s second airport for the simulator, Eagle County Regional Airport (KEGE) in Colorado, United States.

While this is a smaller airport and most of its flights are seasonal, it’s very popular during the winter seasons when it’s a destination for skiers and holidaymakers.

Moving on to releases, Barelli MSFS Addon released Ancona International Airport (LIPY), also known as Marche Airport in Italy.

It’s currently available on SimMarket for $13.34 plus applicable VAT.

We also get a release from MM Simulation, and it’s Borkum Airfield (EDWR) in Germany.

This is also available on SimMarket for $9.60.

  • Accurate models around the airport area
  • Detailed interior modeling
  • Ambient animated objects
  • Complete PBR texturing
  • Custom Landmarks
