Today third-party developers delivered plenty of news about new content for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
First of all, Fenix Simulations provided an impressively in-depth video of its upcoming Airbus A320 showing the crazy level of detail and effort that went into modeling the pneumatic system.
On top of that, we get a beautiful screenshot showing the Eurowings livery, provided on the developer’s Discord server. The excellent weathering under the wings and belly of the aircraft is certainly notable.
We then get an announcement from AzurPoly, which revealed an upcoming rendition of the BD-5J Microjet.
Continuing with the new announcements, Impulse Simulations revealed that it’s developing Bankstown Airport (YSBK) close to Sydney, Australia.
This is a smaller airport mostly dedicated to general and business aviation, with an intense flight school activity.
Last, but certainly not least, Origami Studios and iniBuilds released London Gatwick Airport (EGKK) in the UK.
It’s currently available at iniBuilds’ own store for $16.34. Below you can check out an official list of features and a gallery of screenshots.
- A mix of 4K and 2K textures for optimal performance
- A custom, faithful recreation of the latest airport ground layout with accurate signage
- Realistic stand signs coupled with static, accurately placed VDGS
- Ground clutter and custom cars placed all around the airport to bring it to life
- Several variants of bespoke, animated jetways
- Accurate apron, runway and taxiway lighting throughout
