Microsoft Flight Simulator Cessna 170B Released by Carenado

Today third-party developer Carenado released a brand new general aviation aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and it’s a classic, the Cessna 170B.

Provided with its standard and oversized tundra wheels, on top of six liveries, this vintage aircraft first introduced in 1959 can land basically anywhere in the simulator.

It’s priced at $14.99 and can be purchased only in the simulator’s official marketplace. It’s likely that it’ll appear for the Xbox Series X|S version as well, even if it isn’t yet confirmed.

To celebrate, Microsoft itself released a trailer, which you can enjoy below.

Recently, we published our massive interview with head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann, who provided a lot of new info about the present and future of the sim.

A few days ago, we heard more about the Xbox version of the simulator and we saw some impressive performance upgrades for the PC version which will come at the same time.
