Third-party developers are continuing to provide updated looks at their work-in-progress add-ons for the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator.
SimWorks Studios showcased a new look at the modeling of the flight deck and cabin (in tundra, summit, and skydiving versions. The latter will have working jump lights and roll-up door) of its Quest/Daher Kodiak. We also read that the version portrayed will be the Series II.
We also get a development update:
“There are a few details and nuances left, but the Kodiak’s Cockpit is 99% modelled and will be in the texture artists hands next week. Since you’re asking for it, some work-in-progress renders from the VC.Systems-wise, the cockpit is nearly complete. Almost all switches & levers are functioning as expected, whether important (flight) or looks (reading lights). The G1000 suite is functioning and the ESI500 backup display is nearing completion.”
Next is a look at Lugano Airport (LSZA) in Switzerland by Gaya Simulations, showcasing the custom ground mesh surrounding the airport.
Last, but not least, MT Scenery Design also showcased its upcoming Coventry Airport (EGBE) in the UK, with a look at the night lighting.
Recently, we published our massive interview with head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann, who provided a lot of new info about the present and future of the sim. Recently, also received lots of new details about upcoming content including two new aircraft and a world update focused on Nordic countries.
