Today Microsoft and Asobo Studio released a new video of the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator, taking us behind the scenes of its innovative technology and beautiful visuals.
We get to see a video featuring Blackshark.ai, which is the technology used to turn the imagery from Bing maps into a fully-fledged and reconstructed 3D environment.
Nowadays executives and developers talk a lot about things like “the power of the cloud,” AI, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and similar.
Yet, this video provides a good example of why they matter, and they likely will even more as technology evolves in time.
Microsoft Flight Simulator launches on August 18 for Windows 10, with the Xbox One version lacking a release window for now.
The game is currently in closed beta.Â
