Guilty Gear -Strive- Reveals Gorgeous Story Mode Opening, Launch Trailer, & Roadmap After Release

Today Arc System Works revealed several new videos and the post-launch roadmap for its upcoming fighting game Guilty Gear -Strive-.

First of all, we take a good look at the full opening of the story mode, which looks downright awesome, alongside the opening cutscene with the theme song.

On top of that, we also see several non-playable (for now?) characters for the first time. We included both the English and Japanese versions of the story mode for your perusal.

The publisher also released the launch trailer of the game. We also included the Japanese version for your perusal.

Next, we get the reveal of the roadmap after launch.

A new playable character from the season pass will be revealed in July and another in August. The first will be a brand new one, and the second will be a returning character, three more, two more stages, and the Another Story mode will be revealed from the fall onward.

The Combo Maker feature will be added with a free update, allowing players to devise innovative combos and upload them so that others can learn them, The digital figure mode will also be added, and more customization features for the Player Match Rooms, which you can see in the video below.

Guilty Gear –Strive–is coming for PS5, PS4, and PC, and was delayed to June 11 a while ago.
