Today Square Enix released a trailer for a rather special item dedicated to those who love the gorgeous soundtrack of Final Fantasy XIV.
It’s a Vinyl LP box that is currently available for pre-orders (in North America and Europe) for $99.99 or €98.99.
The box includes four vinyl disks one dedicated to the original Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and the other three dedicated to the expansions, Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers.
Each vinyl comes with a beautiful illustration by Kuroimori and a code for the download of the same music in MP3 format. They’re all available separately for $29.99/€28.99 each.
“The vinyl cutting was done in Los Angeles by mastering virtuoso, Bernie Grundman! Bernie Grundman is an audio mastering engineer who started his career at Contemporary Records in 1966, then continued on to A&M Records as head of their mastering department in 1968, earning his reputation working on albums with artists including Carole King, Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, and more. He has also been nominated for various Grammy awards and has won many prestigious awards.”
