Persona 5 Royal Reveals Different Beginning Featuring Kasumi in First 15 Minutes of Gameplay and More

Today Atlus showcased some brand new gameplay of the upcoming Persona 5 re-release Persona 5 Royal for PlayStation 4, including the beginning of the game.

Today, during a livestream from Japan, Atlus showcased some brand new gameplay of the upcoming Persona 5 re-release Persona 5 Royal.

First and foremost we get the reveal of some brand new gameplay, and it’s rather special considering that it’s the first 15 minutes of the game.

That being said, this isn’t the beginning that we remember, or at least not completely.

While the infiltration of the casino palace begins pretty much as we remember, things become quite different as we’re introduced to the grappling mechanic and at the first appearance of the new heroine Kasumi Yoshizawa, who changes the scene rather radically, even if she doesn’t appear to alter its outcome.

You can watch it below.

Additional shorter gameplay segment showcase combat and the Show Time attack between Makoto and Ryuji.

You can check those out below as well.
