Fairy Tail DLC Characters & Costumes & Free Photo Mode Update Announced; PS4 Gameplay Revealed

Today Koei Tecmo hosted a livestream dedicated to the upcoming Fairy Tail JRPG developed by Atelier studio Gust, which will soon be released into the wild.

First of all, we get to see plenty of PS4 gameplay including character quests and battle.

The juicy part perhaps came later with the reveal of the photo mode (which you can see in action in the third clip below). 

It won’t be ready for launch but it will come with the first free update on August 6.

On the same date, we’ll also get a bunch of paid DLC. This includes Lyon Vastia, Levy McGarden, Lisanna Strauss, and Elfman Strauss.

Additional DLC will include three costume packages. They’ll be the Anime Final Season pack, the Variety pack, and the Special Swimsuits pack. 

Each DLC will include 16 costumes for a total of 48.

Fairy Tail is slated to release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and it’s coming on July 30 for Europe and July 31 for North America
