The first is Shibata Katsuie, voiced by Tsutomu Isobe.

He was known as the heavyweight of the Oda clan, often nicknamed “Demon Shibata,” “Charging Shibata” or “Bottle-Breaking Shibata” indicating his bravery.

Luís Fróis describes him as “the most heroic warlord and daring man in Japan in the age of Nobunaga.”

His guardian spirit is named Izasao.

The second character is Maeda Toshiie, voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama.

He was known as a master of spears and as an eccentric warriors parading through town with a flashy long spear.

He was known as “Mataza of the Spear” and his guardian spirit is Okuriinu.

Lastly, we get to meet Hachisuka Masakatsu, voiced by Kenta Miyake.

He was lord of the Kaitou district where the people who lived around the Sunomata area held contacts with the youkai for mutual help. Also named Koroku, some of his features were similar to those of a Kappa.

All three characters are inspired by historical warlords who fought during the Sengoku era.
