Today Cygames had a little Granblue Fantasy Versus treat in store for players of the existing mobile game Granblue Fantasy.
The developer added a Versus menu within the game to introduce the upcoming fighting title and it came with a fully voice acted prologue designed in traditional Granblue Fantasy style.
While it’s hardly required to understand the story of the PS4 game, it produced a nice little bit of context, so I thought I’d record for those of you who don’t play Granblue Fantasy but want to jump into Versus when it releases. Watch it below.
If you want to experience it in the game, the original Granblue Fantasy is available for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. Granblue Fantasy versus releases in Japan on February 6, 2020, for PS4. For now, the western release is simply marked for Q1 2020.
