Today Square Enix released another video delving into the creation of the super-popular Final Fantasy XIV expansion Shadowbringers.

This is the fifth and last episode of a series that previously focused on the story, the world design, the characters, and the monsters.

This time around the video focuses on the music and audio aspects of the expansion, starring sound director and composer Masayoshi Soken and sound designer Go Kinuya.

Shadowbringers most definitely comes with one of the best soundtracks of the whole MMORPG genre, so this is certainly a must-watch for Final Fantasy XIV fans.

You can check it out below. As usual, do keep in mind that you can select subtitles with the “cc” button.

If you’d like to learn more about Final Fantasy XIV, you can read our recent interview with Naoki Yoshida and Banri Oda,  our review of Shadowbringers.

A few weeks ago we also learned that the game has passed 18 million registered users. Incidentally, we’re about to delve into a brand new Hatching-tide event to celebrate Easter.

You can then enjoy the report on our latest visit to the Eorzea Cafe in Tokyo, one  about the latest orchestra concert, and our look at the recent uniqlo collaboration.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC. A while ago, Xbox boss Phil Spencer pledged to help bring the game to Xbox One as well, but we haven’t heard about it since.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
