First of all, it’s worth mentioning that this edition has been confirmed only for Europe (at least among the western regions), so if you’re in North America, you’ll have to either settle with the standard edition or import it.

We get to see the rich content of the edition, which reproduces precisely what is offered in Japan, so much that the special mgazine is in Japanese.

It includes the following:

  • Collector’s Box
  • Original Illustration B2 Poster
  • Sorcerer Magazine Special Issue: Game Release Edition (Japanese Language)
  • 3D Character Cards (3 Designs)
  • Special sticker set
  • Fairy Tail Full Game (PS4, Switch & PC Steam)

Do keep in mind that the PC version will include a Steam code instead of the disk.

You can watch it below.

If you want to learn more you should read our interview with producer Keisuke Kikuchi and watch the extensive gameplay video we recorded at a preview event in London.

You can also see the latest trailer and screenshots, more gameplay from a Japanese livestream, another promotional video, the previous trailer, another recent railer, screenshots showing plenty of playable characters, and a TV commercial.

You can then enjoy the original announcement trailer, gameplay footage from Tokyo Game Show, another gallery of screenshots, the previous  batch introducing Juvia and Gajeel, and the latest focusing on Mirajane, Laxus, and Jellal.

Fairy Tail is slated to release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and has just been delayed to July 30 for Europe and July 31 for North America.
