The video isn’t your usual trailer, but instead stars composers Yugo Kanno and Akihiro Manabe.

The two composers talk about the work they did to create the soundtrack of the game, and we also get  to see how it was done behind-the-scenes.

That being said, the video still features plenty of imagery from the game as well.

You can watch it below, making sure to click on the “cc” option and then select English subtitles since Koei Tecmo actually included them for our perusal.

Incidentally, the soundtrack will release in Japan on March 18 with a CD set including 51 tracks.

Nioh 2 will release (at least for now) exclusively for PS4 on March 13, 2020. It has recently gone gold and another demo will be available at the end of February.

Recently, we also learned that the original Nioh passed three million copies shipped just in time for the third anniversary of its release in 2017.
