Today Koei Tecmo released a new video of its upcoming masocore action-RPG Nioh 2 by Team Ninja.
The video isn’t your usual trailer, but instead stars composers Yugo Kanno and Akihiro Manabe.
The two composers talk about the work they did to create the soundtrack of the game, and we also get to see how it was done behind-the-scenes.
That being said, the video still features plenty of imagery from the game as well.
You can watch it below, making sure to click on the “cc” option and then select English subtitles since Koei Tecmo actually included them for our perusal.
Incidentally, the soundtrack will release in Japan on March 18 with a CD set including 51 tracks.
If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy the latest trailer, the latest gameplay, the latest images and details, the previous screenshots, another batch of screenshots, one more gallery, the one released before, more images, the previous trailer, plenty of videos showing the basics of combat gameplay, the latest multiplayer gameplay, and another set of videos.
Nioh 2 will release (at least for now) exclusively for PS4 on March 13, 2020. It has recently gone gold and another demo will be available at the end of February.
Recently, we also learned that the original Nioh passed three million copies shipped just in time for the third anniversary of its release in 2017.
