We get to see the new trial tithed “The CLoud Deck,” a celebratory update to the Ishgardian Celebration that will pay homage to our efforts, and a look at the PS5 open beta that will come with the update.

Ishgardian Restoration Updates

As a new age dawns in Ishgard, luminaries from across Eorzea have been invited to the Firmament to take part in a ceremony commemorating this momentous occasion.

PlayStation 5 Open Beta

The open beta test for the PlayStation 5 Edition begins, bringing with it full 4K support, vastly improved loading times and framerates, and a better gameplay experience than ever before. Richer, more immersive adventures await─across Eorzea and beyond!”

A few weeks ago, we learned that the next expansion titled “Endwalker” will release fall 2021. You can check out tons of details and the first official screenshots and art.

Square Enix also shared details about the upcoming 5.5 update a little while ago and recently published more screenshots.

If you’re unfamiliar with Final Fantasy XIV, it’s currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC, and an open beta for the brand new PS5 version will open on April 13 alongside update 5.5. The upgrade will be offered free of charge to those who own the PS4 version.
