Yakuza; Like a Dragon For PS4 Gets New Gameplay Showing Minigames and Activities Aplenty

Sega released new screenshots and a video of Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness, also known as Yakuza: Like a Dragon in the west.

Today Sega released new screenshots and a new video of its upcoming JRPG Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness, also known as Yakuza: Like a Dragon in the west.

First of all, we take a look at the Survivor bar, where you can enjoy Karaoke, including completely new songs written for this game. 

At the bar you can relax with your friends, have bonding conversations to improve the relationship with them, and even learn their private issues. 

There are over 30 music CDs that can be found in the world of the game, won, or purchased. After obtaining them, you can listen to them at Survivor. 

Another interesting activity is the cultivation of various vegetables and flowers in the planters in front of the bar, which the owner of the bar will then turn into items. Among the results are bento boxes, bouquets that can be used as gifts, and medicine. 

The video features additional minigames and activities that we have seen in previous reveals like Dragon Kart, company management, the survival can collection, and even a photo mode.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will launch in Japan on January 16, 2020, exclusively for PS4. It’ll also come west later next year, and a demo is already available on the Japanese PSN.
