Cygames and Xseed Games continue to release new trailers of the upcoming fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus.
First of all, we get a new version of the trailer that introduced Zeta and Vaseraga.
This time around the trailer features a special guest, as it’s narrated by Kazuya Nakai, the voice of the popular Eustace.
Even if you don’t play Granblue Fantasy you may be familiar with him, as he’s the voice of Wakka from Final Fantasy X and Shinjiro Aragaki from Persona 3.
The second trailer is an English one featuring another playable character, Ladiva.
The third trailer focuses on an iconic location of the Granblue Fantasy story, Fremel island.
The battle starts at Lake Zairic, and in the final round, the floor collapses sending the fighters down in the Kushathra Works underground factory. That’s a pretty neat trick.
Incidentally, we also get to see Zeta and Lowain in action in the same video.
If you’d like to learn more about Granblue Fantasy Versus, you can read my recent hands-on preview and our interview with Tetsuya Fukuhara himself.
You can also check out a ton of recent screenshots, a trailer showcasing the soundtrack, another starring Zeta and Vaseraga, , one revealing Metera, one showing off the RPG Mode, a few screenshots from a few months ago, another trailer revealing Percival and his first gameplay, another video announcing the previous character Ladiva, and the video that came before featuring Lowain.
Six more English trailers have also been recently revealed, featuring Gran, Katalina, Charlotta, Ferry, Lancelot, Percival, and Lowain.
Two more trailers are scheduled to be released this month at Granblue Fantasy Fes.
Granblue Fantasy versus releases in Japan on February 6, 2020 for PS4. For now the western release is simply marked for Q1 2020.
Incidentally, the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game is available for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. If you want to give it a try to prepare for the release of the console games, you can read my detailed guide on how to create an account, install the game, and play in English.
