It’s already past midnight in Australia, and the local arm of PlayStation had a special way to celebrate the official release day of The Last of Us Part II.
We get to see a video starring local singer Tash Sultana as she sings “Through The Valley,” the iconic song performed by Ellie in the first trailer of The Last Of Us part II, all the way back during PlayStation Experience in December 2016.
You can watch it below, alongside the original included as a bonus.Â
If you want to learn more, you can check out the launch trailer, the previous cinematic trailer, and the recent gameplay from a few days ago. An official podcast has been released yesterday alongside interesting info on the games’ accessibility.
We also have a featurette on the story, one on gameplay, one on the research done by the team, and one on the world.
Speaking of The Last of Us, we also recently learned that a TV series is coming to HBO, co-written by director Neil Druckmann himself, with composer Gustavo Santaolalla working on the music.
The Last of Us Part IIÂ will be released tomorrow, June 19, exclusively for PlayStation 4. Of course, if you’re in Australia, “tomorrow” is already “today.”
