Today Bandai Namco released a large gallery of screenshots of its upcoming fighting action game One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.
The screenshots focus on the special moves that a few characters in the game will be able to use, including Saitama, Genos, Fubuki, Mumen Rider, and Speed-o’-Sound Sonic.
Of course, considering the mood of the game which reflects the manga and anime, those moves are quite over-the-top, and some of them are really hilarious.
For instance, one move has Saitama realize that a sale at a supermarket is today, so he delivers a massively powerful blow in order to finish the fight quickly.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, here’s an official summary.
“Learn hero skills and complete missions as a pro hero in the Hero Association and climb the ranks to become an S-Class hero in the main story, based on the first season of the ONE PUNCH MAN anime!
Players can also battle with powerful characters such as Metal Knight, Stinger, and Melzargard in over-the-top clashes true to the ONE PUNCH MAN world! Powerful villains may also show up during battle and disrupt the fight in events; these villains include King, a character so intimidating that he causes everyone but Saitama to freeze in battle.”
If you want to see more, you can enjoy the latest trailer, the previous one, another promotional video, some recent gameplay I recorded at Tokyo Game Show, the original trailer from a few months ago, the first screenshots and artwork, the second character reveal, and another trailer from Gamescom.
