Today Square Enix finally turned the final page of the Final Fantasy XV saga, at least in video game form, with the release of the last DLC Episode Ardyn.

To celebrate this last release, we get a launch trailer showing a glimpse of the dramatic story that awaits us.

Unfortunately, we won’t get the promised “A New Dawn” DLC series, which was supposed to focus on Luna, Noctis, and Aranea, and to bring a alternate happy ending promised by former director Hajime Tabata.

It has been canceled and replaced with the novel The Dawn of the Future, about which we’ll hear later today via a final Active Time Report broadcast from Square Enix’s HQ in Tokyo.

You can check out the trailer below, and see if you feel that heavy sensation that comes at the end of an era. I know I do.

If you want to see more of Episode Ardyn, you can enjoy some gameplay showing his deadly moves, more information and the first screenshots, alongside the moving anime prologue released by Square Enix a few weeks ago.

The DLC is launching today, March 26 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Final Fantasy XV is currently available for the same platforms.
