Best Longbow Attachments

Since the Longbow isn’t the best sniper rifle right now we need to build it in a way that accentuates its strengths while ignoring its weaknesses entirely. For that reason we have our loadout centered around it being similar to the MTZ Interceptor – tailored to medium-ranged fights and more akin to a Marksman Rifle than a Sniper Rifle.

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: PRO-99 Long barrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
  • Rear Grip: Citadel Grip

We start off our list with the few obvious choices, the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor and the Bruen Heavy Support Grip to offer the best recoil control and damage increases. To further help our damage we use the PRO-99 Long Barrel to ensure we can take plates off enemy operators regardless of range. Finally, as our last increase to recoil control, we use the Citadel Grip for stability.

Since we are making the Longbow into a Marksman Rifle, we choose to use the VLK 4.0 Optic as a nice medium-ranged scope with minimum clutter.

Best Longbow Perks

Our perks are recommended for Warzone in general and are mostly irrelevant to the weapon you’re using. Here we detail our all-around perk package for any player.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Tempered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Sleight of Hand is a great boon to sluggish Sniper Rifle users since any engagement in close-quarters-combat will result in your death without swapping to your secondary. In perk slot 2 we have Double Time, an absolute must-have in Warzone as mobility will save your life and get you into a fight quicker.

Tempered offers a 33% faster plating speed that can be the difference between life and death. Finally, High Alert protects you from the enemy squad’s aiming at the back of your skull while simultaneously giving you information on their whereabouts.

Best Longbow Attachments

The Longbow may have the lowest damage range of all snipers, it’s a completely irrelevant fact in MW3’s multiplayer since this sniper is still a one-shot kill. Now due to the chaos of multiplayer and the new movement mechanics we want to build the Longbow as a fast-paced, fast-aiming weapon to surgically destroy the enemy team.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Barrel: Tac-Brute Suppressed Barrel
  • Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Rear Grip: Citadel Grip
  • Bolt: SA-M Quickbolt

As stated, the aim is to tune this class into a movement machine, letting you slip and slide through enemies with this sniper. The Tac-Brute Barrel and Forge Tac Delta 4 make an excellent duo to allow fast ADS and a clean optic. No Stock, Citadel Grip, and SA-M Quickbolt double down on this speedy loadout and allow you to quick-scope your enemy.

Stalker Boots in Modern Warfare 3

Modern Warfare 3 has introduced many changes to the Call of Duty formula, but one of the more exciting additions is the overhauled perk system. Perks now come in the form of body armor, with each piece giving players a unique ability. So, with that in mind, we want to find the best perks to complement our Longbow attachments.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Commando Gloves
  • Boots: Stalker Boots
  • Gear: Tac Mask

Since the best vest right now is undoubtedly the Infantry Vest it’s an obvious pick. The Commando Gloves allows you to reload while sprinting, keeping you mobile even when you need to switch mags. To maintain the movement speed, use the Stalker Boots to increase your ADS and Strafe speeds. Finally, the Tac Mask reduces flashbangs to give you a better shot at hitting enemies trying to overwhelm you with tactical equipment. With this combo, you’ll rampage across the map, taking down enemies one shot at a time.

And there we have it. The best Longbow loadout in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Be sure to check out our related Call of Duty guides, news, and updates at Twinfinite.
