A(d)vance your game.

Peering into the meta of MW3 and Warzone, it’s clear to see that almost any and every gun has a chance to shine. Shotguns, Marksman Rifles, Battle Rifles, and SMGs are all fantastic options for scoring some wins. The FR Avancer is an Assault Rifle back from its time on the shelf, and with its best loadout, it is poised to take Warzone by storm.

Best FR Avancer Attachments

The FR Avancer is among the highest fire rate assault rifles in the game. It can churn out a wall of bullet fire in moments and overwhelm enemy combatants similar to the WSP Swarm, but with an exponentially longer range. Despite it being an old-generation weapon, the FR Avancer feels like it would slot comfortably into MW3 upon release.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: 600MM FR Longbarrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Magazine: 60 Round Magazine
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

As usual with Warzone, we need to address the range and damage of the FR Avancer, so we use the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor and 600MM FR Longbarrel. Together they offer a massive damage increase that can help the FR Avancer to take longer ranged fights without losing damage. For some stability we use the Bruen Heavy Support Grip to reduce recoil and gun kick.

Finally, the 60-Round Magazine is pretty normal for the Warzone environment to allow us to run through an entire squad without issue. The Optic we chose is the Slate Reflector, but can be replaced with your preference.

Best FR Avancer Perks

Our perks are recommended for Warzone in general, but you can swap out perks for your preferred loadout. For those wondering what a good perk package looks like, read on.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Temepered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Reloading faster is a solid pick for perk slot 1, especially for those running larger weapons in one or both slots, like sniper rifles. Double Time is a must-have in Warzone, especially with the long sightlines and the high mobility meta.

Tempered offers us a unique ability to plate up 33% quicker than opponents while needing almost 33% fewer plates than any other squad. You’ll find so much more bag space for other gadgets like smokes or grenades. Finally, High Alert is an underestimated perk that gives you information, saves your life, and can help you clutch a fight.

Best FR Avancer Attachments

Since the FR Avancer already sports an extremely high fire rate, it’s the perfect weapon to get in close and overwhelm opponents with constant bullet fire. With some choice attachments and changes, we can bring this old weapon into the new era.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Barrel: 395MM FR Minibore
  • Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
  • Magazine: 45 Round Magazine
  • Rear Grip: RMT Grip
  • Comb: FR Giga

For MW3 we have to make a few adjustments to match the mobility meta. With that in mind we first take the 395MM FR Minibore for its improvement to ADS speeds at the cost of recoil control. Next up we have the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop to continue the trend of better mobility and handling while also offering some much-needed recoil control to mitigate the damage we are doing. The RMT Grip and FR Giga Comb are a perfect duo for sprint-to-fire speeds and ADS speeds, improving our handling so much that it can outdraw some SMGs.

Finally, the 45-Round Magazine is here to ensure we don’t run out of bullets when we need them the most.

Best FR Avancer Perks

The FR Avancer is a high-powered, fast-shooting, and nimble weapon so we want to equip body armor that will continue to help it traverse the maps without issue.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Quick Grip Gloves
  • Boots: Climbing Boots
  • Gear: Tac Mask

For high mobility we use the Infantry Vest, allowing us to sprint throughout the maps with faster Tac Sprint. The best gloves in the game are undoubtedly the Quick Grip Gloves. They allow you to swap to your sidearm at a moment’s notice, often resulting in scoring a kill when it would otherwise be your death. Climbing Boots are perfect for increasing your mobility to allow faster rotations through vertical angles you may not have had access to before. Finally, the Tac Mask gives you much-needed safety against Flashbang/Concussion equipment.
