Muv-Luv Resonative is the official sequel of Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After (which is in turn the sequel of Muv-Luv Unlimited), of which it was supposed to be the fourth chapter. Considering that a lot of time passed since the release of the third, the developers decided to rework it into its own thing, which both new and veteran players can enjoy.

We get to see some familiar characters including the hero Tatsunami Hibiki, Shizuku Miono, Ellen Aice, and Takatsugu Ikaruga.

You can check them out below. You can also take a look at the previous gallery and the first.

During yesterday’s event, we saw new trailers for the new games Muv-Luv Integrate and Muv-Luv Resonative and a look at the upcoming update for Project Mikhail: A Muv-Luv War Story.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Muv-Luv games, you can read my extensive article explaining all you need to know to get into one of the best visual novel series of all time.

Incidentally, now it’s the best time to jump into the series since pretty much everything is majorly discounted via the Steam Winter Sale.
