The patch is titled “Echoes of a Fallen Star” and it’ll progress the main storyline as the scions wait for the Crystal Exarch to help them get back home. Yet, there is still a lot to do in Novrandt.

We also get to take a look at the new 8-man raid, titled Eden’s Verse. We finally get the first look at the armored woman we rescued in the previous chapter, which we had seen only in artwork form before.

Her identity is still a mystery, but she has been designed by Kingdom Hearts 3 director Testsuya Nomura.

Thirdly, a couple of screenshots portray the new dungeon, Anamnesis Anyder, located even deeper into the Tempest than Amaurot itself.

Lastly, the new Chronicles of a New Era chapter, titled The Sorrow of Werlyt, sees the Garlean Empire trying to break the stalemate with the Eorzean Alliance by unleashing a powerful warmachina.

The updated is scheduled to release in mid-February.

You can enjoy the screenshots below.
