Today Square Enix revealed the trailer of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV update 5.1, titled “Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty.”

While the patchincludes plenty of elements, the most juicy element is likely the first look at the NieR: Automata raid written by Director Yoko Taro and Producer Yosuke Saito themselves. 

We get to see familiar environments and enemies, on top of YoRHa 2P, the alternate version of YoRHa 2B who initially appeared in SoulCalibur VI.

The raid is aptly titled “YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse.” 

We also get the release date of the update, which is October 29.
