The video showcases the beginning of the first chapter of the first story mode of the game, including plenty of cutscenes.

I mention a “first story mode” because as we learned a few days ago, there are two campaigns.

The first is Satsuki Kiryuin’s story, told from the poi9nt of view of the antagonist of the anime series. After finishing that one, you’ll unlock Ryuko’s story, showcasing the series protagonist’s perspective.

You can check out the video below.

If you want to see more, you can also enjoy another recent and extensive trailer, the latest gameplay,  more recent screenshots, more gameplay showing villainesses Ragyo Kiryuin and Nui Harime in action, and a batch of images focusing the protagonists.

You can also take a look at Satsuki’s ultimate form and Ryuko’s, neither of which appeared in the anime.

Kill la Kill The Game: IF will release on July 26 for PS4 and Switch, just one day after the Japanese launch on July 25. The PC version will actually release on the same day worldwide, on July 25.
