This Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown PS4 Gameplay Is a Little Weird

Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand new video showcasing gameplay of the upcoming Ace Combat title This Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

The video comes in a rather weird Japanese talk show-like format, with the hosts at the top and the footage at the bottom, with most of the screen estate left completely empty. Talk about a waste.

That being said, we still see a little over ten minutes of gameplay, including some on a normal screen, and a mission played on PlayStation VR. I guess that’s better than nothing.

You can watch the gameplay below. If you want to see more videos, you can also enjoy the latest trailer showcasing the F-35C Lightning II, another with the Gripen E, the video showing off the Mig-29A Fulcrum, another with the F-14D Super Tomcat, and one focusing on the A-10C Thunderbolt II.

Older videos showcase the Mig-31 Foxhound, the F/A-18F Super Hornet, the Eurofighter Typhoon, and the F-15C Eagle. On top of that, we also have a ton more gameplay livestreamed a few days ago.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown launches in Japan for PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 17, 2019. It’ll come to North America and Europe on Jan. 18. A PC version will follow on Feb. 1.
