Oxenfree is now available to download for free through the Epic Games Store for a limited-time until April 4.
The mystery graphic adventure is about a teenage girl named Alex who travels to an island with her friends for a weekend party. After supernatural events occur, they must explore the island to reveal its secrets.
Oxenfree was originally released in 2016 for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One followed by Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android versions in 2017. Developer Night School Studio is currently working on After Party, another graphic adventure where a pair of deceased friends must out-drink Satan to get out of Hell scheduled to launch sometime in 2019.
The Epic Games Store revealed the next free game will be puzzle exploration game The Witness. Created by Braid developer Jonathan Blow, the 2016 title will be available for free starting April 4 until April 18.
Epic Games has been giving away a free game every two weeks since opening its digital marketplace on the Epic Games launcher last December. The company plans to follow this schedule of free games until the end of 2019, and has already offered a variety of titles such as Axiom Verge, The Jackbox Party Pack, and Thimbleweed Park.
