The Division 2 Gets New Video Detailing How to Play the Open Beta

As the world leaves February behind and gradually heads into March 1, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is preparing to open the open beta floodgates.

In order to help potential players out, Ubisoft released just another video (looks like they really like releasing videos nowadays, not that I’m complaining) going in depth into what expects players in the upcoming beta test.

We get to take a look at character creation, that for the beta simply offers random presets, and the missions that we’ll be able to play, starting with recapturing the White House.

The trailer also shows the weapons and gear that players will find. After all, it’s a looter-shooter RPG, so we shouldn’t be surprised that loot it’s front and center.

The Dark Zone will also be available, bringing some PvP into the mix. After that, we’ll be able to get a taste of the endgame, including three specializations.

You can watch the video below. Just yesterday, Ubisoft released another cinematic trailer and a look at the free and paid content that will be released across a year from release.

You can also enjoy the another trailer featuring the open beta, one focusing on the endgame, a previous clip, and more gameplay videos.

If all of this isn’t enough, you should definitely read our hands-on preview and our interview with Creative Director Terry Spier about the Dark Zone and PvP changes from the first game.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One just ten days after the end of the open beta, on March 14. 2019.
