Some details were already provided yesterday, but today the company went in more details about quite a few points.

First of all, CEO Adam Adam KiciÅ„ski mentioned that CD Projekt RED is “terribly proud” of what they managed to achieve with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Switch from the technical point of view.

It’s a very demanding game in terms of graphics and CPU power, but the team managed to port it to Switch in such a way that it looks wonderful on the small screen, and it’s one of the most beautiful games avalable for the console.

On top of that, work on Gwent for iPhone is being finished and it’s already playable.

The Android version won’t be launched at the same time for technical reasons. The Android platforms includes many different devices that require time for testing.

He also explained that Cyberpunk 2077 received 85 awards at E3, and the trailer was seen 30 million times. Cyberpunk was the most popular game at E3.

Below you can see views of trailers for Cyberpunk 2077 compared to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

During the Q&A session Kiciński mentioned that the preorder curve for Cyberpunk 2077 is similar in shape to that of The Witcher 3, but there are more pre-order for Cyberpunk.

That being said, they’re deliberate in not providing too many details on this because less than 10% of pre-orders for The Witcher 3 came in the first month. Most happened at the very end when the first review started coming out.

That being said, they’re “very happy” about the initial results compared to the past, but it’s very early days.

We also hear that the Google Stadia pricing for Cyberpunk will be the same as other platforms.

According to KiciÅ„ski it’s too early to say of the game will sell. The studio assumes “it’ll sell phenomenally” because it’s a phenomenal game, but he isn’t doing any calculation.

KiciÅ„ski mentioned that the number of developers employed by CD Projekt is increasing, but the developer is hiring cautiously because quality is top priority. The vast majority of developers is working on Cyberpunk, and that’s between 430 and 470 people across three teams.

The Gwent team  has about 80 people and isn’t growing in size. A team of about 20 people is working on an unannounced mobile game, for a total of five teams.

A 15-minute look at the demo referenced in the interview will be publicly released later this week.

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020.
