The trailer celebrates the release of the game, mostly focusing on its gameplay, also showcasing its characters. Some of them are most definitely familiar, while more are new, like heroine Ciel Sulfur.

You can watch it below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the opening cutscene from yesterday.

BlazBlue Alternative: Dark War just launched this month for iOS and Android in Japan. No information has been provided about a possible western release.

Of course, it’s for iOS and Android, and you can expect all the gacha shenanigans that characterize this kind of game.

The game is published by Arc System Works and developed by Linked Brain, which previously collaborated to the development of One Piece: World Seeker, SINoALICEMagatsu Warheit, Fate/Grand Order, Yo-Kai Watch 4, Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World: Lost in Memories, and more.

If you’re unfamiliar with the BlazBlue series, it debuted in 2008 with BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. After that, it spawned several sequels and spin-offs, latest of which is the crossover fighting game BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.

While at the moment Arc System Works is preparing to release Guilty Gear -Strive-, we don’t have specific information on what the BlazBlue team is working on.
