Today Gust had a nice Christmas treat for fans of the Atelier series in the form of the official reveal of the box art of Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland.

The reveal was made via the series official Twitter account, and we get to see the clean version of the art, alongside the boxes for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The illustration was created by beloved Atelier character designer and artist Mel Kishida.

Interestingly, the composition is quite off-center, with protagonist Elmerulia “Lulua” Frixell on the left side. In the middle, we see her mother, who is also one of the most beloved characters of the series, Rorolina “Rorona” Frixell from the 2010 PS3 classic Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland.

The game features the return to the Arland setting, which recently received a remaster for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

You can check out the images in the gallery below. If you want to see more about the game, you can check out the latest gallery of screenshots, more images from a few weeks ago and the latest trailer. You can also read about the actors who will lend their voices to the main characters.

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland will launch in Japan on March 20, 2019 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It’ll come west in the spring of 2019.
