Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 Exclusivity Expiration Also Delayed to April 10, 2021

PS4 gamers won't be the only ones to experience the Final Fantasy VII Remake a bit later than they expected. The exclusivity window has also been updated.

Gamers on PS4 won’t be the only ones to experience the Final Fantasy VII Remake a bit later than they expected.

Back in December, Square Enix revealed via an official box art that the upcoming game would be exclusive until March 3, 2021.

In January, the game has been delayed to April, but did the PS4 exclusivity have a fixed expiration, or was it simply for a year after release? The latter is correct according to a new version of the cover made available on the official Square Enix press portal.

The new date after which gamers on other platforms can hope to play the game as well is April 10, 2021, as you can see below.

If you’d like to see and learn more about the game, you can enjoy the latest, spectacular trailer that revealed Red XIII, a large batch of screenshots, the previous trailer from The Game Awards, some wallpapers and avatars showcasing Cloud, more starring Barret, some displaying Tifa, more featuring Aerith, the previous gallery of screenshots,  a few recent videos, a couple more clips, a charming TV commercal mixing live-action and a nostalgic feel, the latest trailer, the western box art for the game, plenty more beautiful screrenshots, and recent gameplay with the reveal of the Classic Mode.

The first game of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on PS4 on April 10, 2020.
