This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Developer and publisher Riot Games has big plans for League of Legends moving forward in 2020. A new video clip shared today teased the full reveal of new game modes, content, and updates to League of Legends and the Runeterra spin-off.

The announcement follows on from one late last year that teed up a huge expansion of League of Legends across new game genres and even television this decade. That included the aforementioned Runeterra, as well as a hero shooter, mobile and console version of League of Legends, and an animated series called Arcane.

In the short term, we can look forward to information on the following according to today’s announcement: a preview of skin lines and returning thematics, updates on new champions, the launch of Clash, news on Team Fight Tactics, a Runeterra update, and a first look at the tabletop spin-off.

We’ll apparently hear more about the above throughout this week and next.

You can check out the teaser below.

In other League of Legends news, Riot Forge recently revealed two new titles named Ruined King and CONV/RGENCE at The Game Awards, which both received trailers.
