Gran Turismo Release Date in Theaters

Gran Turismo is set to hit theaters on Aug. 11, 2023. It’s set to join a growing list of video game adaptations set to release next year, including Nintendo’s Mario film and a fellow Sony product, HBO’s The Last of Us TV show.

Set to be directed by Neill Blomkamp, the film will star David Harbour as a character attempting to teach a young Gran Turismo fan how to drive a real car. This is just one of the many major properties that PlayStation Productions plans to turn into a film, joining the likes of Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, Gravity Rush and Jak and Dexter.

That’s all we’ve got so far on the release date for the Gran Turismo film. While you wait for more news on this movie, Twinfinite has all you need to know about other PlayStation Productions projects, including a look at The Last of Us TV show.
