First of all, we get to take a look at two known faces, Red XIII and Professor Hojo.

We also see renders of the various pre-order bonus summons, Cactuar, Carbuncle, and Chocobo Chick.

Moving on to gameplay, the screenshots showcase Tifa’s battle abilities.
“Whirling Uppercut” does what it says on the tin, launching an enemy up in the air.

“Omnistrike” uses the whole momentum of Tifa’s shoulders to strike and knock enemies back.

“Rise and Fall” delivers a series of raging kicks followed by a palm strike.

“True Strike” throws a quick frontal Jab at the enemy while “Dive Kick” delivers a powerful kick from above.

More screenshots showcase materia effects. Magic materia like Healing lets you use spells like Cure and Cura.

On the other hand, Deadly Dodge is a materia that all characters can use and converts any attack made after dodging into a powerful counterattack.

Various weapons can be equipped and they will be shown as part of the character’s appearance both during exploration and battle. The screenshots showcase Cloud using a bat full of nails.

Another interesting element is the “handyman quests” feature. Basically Cloud makes ends meet by being a handyman for the people of Midgar, and he will be given a variety of tasks, receiving a variety of rewards.

The images we see showcases the quests that can be received in Sector 7’s slums, including defeating monsters or even finding a lost cat.

Chadley is a kid in this area that will ask you to gather “battle intel.” The more of his tasks you complete the more kinds of materia he’ll sell you.

Last, but not least, we take a look at areas, more precisely the Mako Reactor and the Corkscrew Tunnel.
