We get to see Hilde’s new look, which is definitely more regal compared to her simpler armor which appeared in SoulCalibur IV and V.

If you’re unfamiliar with her prevbious appearances, you can find an official description below directly from the press release.

Hildegard von Krone (Hilde) returns to battle for honor, duty, and to rebuild her homeland. Born into a noble family, Hilde exhibited an unusually sprightly demeanor as a child, a personality trait that will play a role in who she will become as an adult.

As a princess of a small independent nation, she was expected to have both strength and wisdom within her as she defended her people against the predatory intentions of neighboring countries.

Thrust into the role of ruler of Wolfkrone at an early age, Hilde’s a strong sense of duty and love for her people and kingdom served as inspiration for her to take on all challengers.

Wielding her short sword and spear, Hilde is always prepared to deal deadly blows to all who dare face her in the arena of battle.

We semi-recently learned that Bandai Namco considers the game’s launch a successful one, which is not too surprising since it’s getting a season 2.

The second season was announced back at EVO 2019, with the reval that it’ll include four new character including a guest: Haohmaru from Samurai Shodown. We also recently saw a trailer showing off the new moves that will be added to all characters.

At the moment, a precise release date has not been revealed.
