This time around we get the official introduction of two characters.

The first is Koichi Adachi, modeled on and voiced by Solid Snake himself, Akio Otsuka.

He is a former cop that was demoted after a conflict with his supervisor. After further investigation, he suspects that his former supervisor is being bribed by the hero’s former mentor and Yakuza boss Masumi Arakawa.

In order to get closer to Arakawa, he decided to work with Ichiban Kasuga.

Saeko Mukouda is played by Sumire Uesaka, whom you may know as NiCO in Dead or Alive 6.

She is a hostess working in a cabaret club in Isezaki Ijincho run by Nonomiya-san, owner of the famous soapland Otohime Land. He trusts her so much that he has her run the establishment in his stead.

After a certain incident, she runs into Ichiban Kasuga.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will launch in Japan on January 16, 2020, exclusively for PS4. It’ll also come west later next year.
