Today they released the English version of one of the latest trailers, which shows giant monsters, multiplayer gameplay, and plenty of weirdness and shenanigans.

While the game has been tweaked to appeal to western audiences, it’s hard to avoid noticing just how Japanese it is, even if the trailers are often mixed with Starship Troopers-like imagery.

The trailer is the same released last week, but this time it’s in a language that most can understand instead of Japanese.

If you want to see more shenanigans, you should check out another trailer from yesterday. I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed from the weirdness point of view.

You can also enjoy a nice batch of gameplaymore from the previous weekenda batch of recent screenshots and the previous trailer.

You should also definitely take a look at our extensive interview with Producer Nobuyuki Okajima, who talked in-depth about the game and its design philosophy.

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will release both in Japan and in the west in a couple of weeks, on April 11, 2019, exclusively for PS4.
