Mortal Kombat 11 Cassie Cage

New Mortal Kombat 11 Trailer Reveals Cassie Cage and Her Brutal Moves

Today NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a brand new trailer of the upcoming fighting game Mortal Kombat 11.

The trailer shows off another fighter that will make a playable appearance in the game, and that’s Cassandra Carlton Cage, also known as Cassie Cage, daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade.

We get to see both her intro sequence and plenty of gameplay against bad boy Kano, and she certainly doesn’t appear to be in any mood to crack jokes.

Of course, the typically-Mortal Kombat core values shine through both during gameplay and with Cassie’s extremely gruesome fatality, which appears to manage to cut Kano’s head and torso in half simply by propelling his spine upwards through a kick in the… well… You know where.

I’m sure many of you will go “ouch” when you see that scene. I sure did.

You can enjoy it below. If you want to see more of Mortal Kombat 11, you can check out the story trailer from earlier today, another trailer that introduced Johnny Cage, one for Jade, the reveal of Kabal, and the arrival of Kano (including a special treat for Brazillian fans).

Mortal Kombat 11 releases on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
