New Kill la Kill The Game: IF Screenshots Show Dual-Wielding Ryuko and Satsuki

Today Arc System Works released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming battle action game Kill la Kill The Game: IF.

The screenshots showcase two character variations for Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuin that were teased a few weeks ago.

Both variations introduce dual wielding, with Satsuki using katana and wakizashi at the same time, while her rival Ryuko wields both scissor blades.

Satsuki’s style loses a bit in reach compared to her one-sword battle setup, but she gains the ability to deliver flowing sequences of blows that don’t leave the opponent any breathing room.

Ryuko loses some of her speed, but the two scissor blades provide her attacks with a wider area of effect.

You can check out both screenshots below and see if they convey the power of our two heroines. Kill la Kill The Game: IF is set for release in 2019 both in Japan and in the west. It’ll come for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
