Wilson mentioned that in fiscal year 2021 (which means between April 2020 and March 2021) Electronic Arts will launch four EA Sports titles (FIFA, Madden, NHL, and an unannounced title). We also hear that EA Sports will also lead on next-generation consoles, with more details on this to be shared soon.

Four more games will come from EA’s own IP, including Command & Conquer Remastered and unannounced games for consoles and PC.

We then hear that “Multiple EA games” are set to launch on Nintendo Switch this year.

On top of that, Jorgensen also mentioned the possibility of games being launched for the current generation of consoles that “can also be upgraded free for the next generation.”

It’ll certainly be interesting to hear more about these titles going forward especially considering that the publisher will host its EA Play event digitally in June this year.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
