Back at E3 2018, Square Enix teased Babylon’s Fall in development by PlatinumGames, but then said absolutely nothing else. Saito-san mentioned that he hopes to be able to share an update on Babylon’s Fall within 2019. He also added that he also has multiple unannounced games in the works, so he will continue to work hard on them.

He wasn’t the only developer from Square Enix to drop teasing remarks.

Business Division 11’s head Tomoya Asano, who recently worked on Octopath Traveler, mentioned that there are multiple titles in development within his team, but it will take some time before they can be disclosed.

Director Takeshi Uchikawa mentioned that the team behind Dragon Quest XI S for Nintendo Switch is preparing surprises, so fans should stay tuned.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 Producer Takuma Shiraishi mentioned that he’s working on a variety of things besides DLC for the game, but we should wait a while for those.

Left Alive Director Toshifumi Nabeshima hinted that more information on the game will be shared via livestream after the beginning of 2019.

Tokyo RPG Factory Atsushi Hashimoto mentioned that the team is making an effort to create games that will surprise the fans, so he hopes that we’ll look forward to the next title.
