The gameplay showcases a new area that was introduced during the latest livestream but not shown extensively, named Vanford Laboratory Ruins.

The area, which was not available in the closed beta, definitely looks quite different compared to the verdant meadows and mountains we saw a few weeks ago.

There’s quite a lot to see, and you can check it out below.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will come for the same platforms as Phantasy Star Online 2 which in the west is (for now) Xbox and PC, while in Japan it will release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’ll launch globally in June 2021.

If you’d like to know what to expect, you can check out the news and gameplay aplenty from the first Prologue livestream about the gamethose from the second the third, and the fourth from last week.

You can also check out the extensive look at the character creation we filmed in the Global beta a few days ago.
