The global beta of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has started, and it’s time for many to enjoy one of the fan-favorite PSO2 activities, creating characters.
If you didn’t get access to the beta, we created a few characters for you, so you can take a look at the many options available. Of course, since this is a beta, it’s likely that a lot more will be include when the game releases next month.
If you’re used to Phantasy Star Online 2, you won’t be surprised by learning that the character customization suite is really deep and detailed. I can imagine many will spend several hours playing with all the options.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will come for the same platforms as Phantasy Star Online 2 which in the west is (for now) Xbox and PC, while in Japan it will release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’ll launch globally in June 2021.
