We get to take a look the the “Trails” that can appear randomly in the field.

Below we can see one of them, focused on intercepting flying Dolls.

Another trial named “Stellar Gift” is showcased in a video.

More screenshots show the trial named “Assembly Point,” which includes enemies standing on elevated platforms.

Apparently, there’s a way to climb the tall tower in Central City, starting with a glide from the nearby mountain. Incidentally, a possible secret related to the tower is being teased.

Lastly, we get to see inverse kinematics in action. Basically, players’ and enemies’ feet will follow the contour of the ground instead of just floating when there is a slow as they do in the original Phantasy Star Online 2 (as you can see in the first screenshot).

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will come for the same platforms as Phantasy Star Online 2 which in the west is (for now) Xbox and PC, while in Japan it will release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
