The next-gen consoles are upon us. Well, the Xbox Series X (and S) released yesterday, and the PS5 launches tomorrow, so one could say that the next-generation is now current-gen –it’s wild.
Grabbing an Xbox or a PS5 right now can prove to be a daunting task, but if you still have yet to claim one for yourself, Walmart is offering online PS5 orders on launch day at four seperate times.
Go ahead and bookmark this site and be ready to order at 12 PM ET, 3 PM ET, 6 PM ET, or at 9 PM ET. The console is sure to fly off of the shelves this holiday season, so this could be your one chance to grab it.
To speed up the process and to make sure you can add it to your cart and have a successful shopping experience, you will want to make sure that you already have a Walmart account and that all of your credit card data and other personal info is filled out.
It’s the worst feeling when the console is there and ready to be purchased, but then you have to sign in or add your address or something. Don’t let that happen!
The PS5 is set to launch on Nov. 12 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea for the suggested retail price of USD 499.99, while the digital edition is priced at USD 399.99 and contains no physical disc drive. The console will launch on Nov. 19 everywhere else.
The next-gen console will launch alongside some standout exclusive titles such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
If you manage to order a PS5 at Walmart, let us know! Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for my pre-order to ship out. Please send good vibes so that I can get it by the end of launch day.
I refuse to play Miles Morales on my dusty ol’ PS4.
