Today Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that new gameplay of The Last of Us Part II will be showcased in another State of Play broadcast.
The livestream will happen on May 27 at 1:00pm PDT / 4:00pm EDT on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube, and it’ll be pretty much like what we saw for Ghost of Tsushima.
The segment will be hosted by creative director and writer Neil Druckmann, who will talk about gameplay details and story.,
“The current cut is clocking in a little more than 20 minutes, ending with an extended sequence showing off about eight minutes of never-before-seen gameplay.”
Like the broadcast for Ghost of Tsushima, Sony was clear to mention that there will be no PS5 news this time around.
Sony Interactive Entertainment recently reopened digital pre-orders for the game on the PlayStation Network. The game is ready and has “gone gold” ahead of its launch.
The Last of Us Part II will be released on June 19, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
