The beta will run between April 16 and April 19 on PS4, which remains the only platform announced for the game so far.

The closed beta will include seven playable characters, Sol, Ky, May, Axl, Chip, Potemkin, and Faust.  It will also provide the first look at the revised character screen and in-game user interface.

Unrelated to the beta, we also learn that the final version of the game will use rollback netcode for online play. That being said, the beta will still use a delay-based implementation because Arc System Works is still developing its version or rollback netcode.

PlayStation Plus is not required to access the beta, and applications are open here until April 5. Those accepted into the test will receive a notice on April 12 via email.
